As principal contractors we work in line with CDM 2015 (Construction, Design and Management regulations).

We have been appointed by many clients to coordinate the construction phase of a project where it involves more than one contractor: planning, managing and co-ordinating health and safety.

The admin team at JDB prepare construction phase plans, including method statements and risk assessments. All coordination between contractors is undertaken by JDB, relieving our clients of any stress associated with a construction project.

Our contracts managers supervise and ensure all site inductions are undertaken, inspect all materials delivered to site and manage all construction operatives.

All of our contract managers and site operatives hold CSCS cards (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) and many hold SSSTS cards too (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).
