Festive Productions - Award-winning Flat Roof Refurbishment
The original 9300m2 roof dated back to 2000 when the premises were first purpose built for Festive Productions.
The original membrane and insulation on the roof was to be removed, upgraded and replaced, whilst along the gutters a complete removal down to the metal deck and replacement.
This resulted in a complete strip-off of the old, failed EPDM membrane, the upgrading of insulation, and the laying of new Protan SE 1.2mm PVC membrane, in challenging weather and working conditions.
Festive Productions’ new flat roof was been achieved in just three months from start to finish, whilst the factory remained operational below. The project received a commendation by the industry body SPRA (Single Ply Roofing Association) for the best refurbishment project in 2016.
