A large proportion of work undertaken by JDB Industrial Roofing is sheeting and cladding work. The majority of larger projects such as industrial units and warehouses call for composite panelling or twinskin metal sheeting systems that are fixed to the steel framework quite often without any brickwork in place at all. The alternatives to composite panelling is a built-up or twinskin system where the liner, insulation and Steel outer sheet are laid individually. Although more time consuming to install this can often prove to be slightly more economical over certain areas. Single skin sheeting is often used for farm outbuildings or sheds but there are also other modern materials such as GRP & DRP that can be used to the same effect.
Composite panels often consist of a polyester internal face backed with steel and a Steel external face both sandwiching a CFC free foam insualtion that not only offers full insulation but also up to one hours minimum fire resistance. Composite panelling is certified for use on walls and ceilings with different types and colours of finishes available you can be sure there is a product available to suit your project.
