Safety nets
Safety netting installation
We supply and erect safety netting for our own strip and resheet projects or rooflight refurbishment projects as well as for other contractors. Safety nets are installed whenever a roof covering is being removed to provide roofers with a third safety element in conjunction with other fall protection systems that we use as standard with the majority of industrial roof refurbishment projects. Standard Safety Netting - Industrial Roofing Contractors
Standard safety netting

The installation of Safety netting often forms the third level of fall protection particularly upon roof refurbishment projects. Priot to the stripping of the existing roof covering or removal of rooflights, our trained and licensed operatives shall erect standard safety netting as per HSE guidelines to the structural framework of the building. This often takes 1-2 days and is usually carried out using a cherry picker.

Our standard safety netting is erected to provide fall protection for our roofing operatives only. The installation of netting has its own method statement and risk assessment separate from the documents for the roofing works themselves. Should anyone fall into the netting during a project we have a variety of methods for their safe removal whether injured or otherwise. All safety netting is installed by FASET associated netting riggers who hold the appropriate CSCS training certificates.
  Debris safety netting

Debris Safety Netting Installation - Commercial Roofing

Debris netting has a finer mesh than standard netting and is used to collect and articles that may fall from the roof during removal. These may include hookbolts, fixings or insulation which may present a hazard to anyone beneath the works area. Some of our past projects have had to allow for clients' personnel to traffic beneath work areas, debris netting is an ideal way to prevent injury from falling materials.
